Daddy’s Favourite ‘I Feel Good Things’ (Super3) 1) Nicola Fasano & Steve Forest Vocal Remix 2) Nicola Fasano & Steve Forest Dub Remix 3) Alan Braxe Remix 4) Geoff M 09 Re-Edit
What else can be said about a record that has already achieved so much success in the last decade? This track has already been a top 40 hit with massive support from Radio 1 and indeed the whole of Europe. Number 1 in all the Hype & Buzz charts, huge MTV house hit with support from the world’s elite DJ’s. A ‘feel good’ record that has earned it’s place as a true end of the night anthem. New Remixes come from hot Italian production duo Nicola Fasano & Steve Forest who are on every radio station with ’75 Brazil St’ and fresh from remixing Bob Sinclar, Alex Guadino, Joey Negro, Roger Sanchez……Here the pair do what they do best and deliver a funk-fuelled bomb of a mix. Alan Braxe drops into deeper territory with a groovy beats, throbbing b-line and of course that irresistible hook. Last but not least is Geoff M’s 09 Re-Edit that stays very true to the original with a slightly different arrangement.

Press: Review in M8 Review in Update. Lewis’s Top (M8 Mag) 5 03. Daddy’s Favourite ‘I Feel Good Things 09’ (SupeRecordings) It’s good to report the return of the Patrice Rushen-sampling ‘Haven’t You Heard’ number as a new re-edit almost ten years to the day that it was a minor UK hit at second time of asking. It’s the first release on SupeRecordings, a new label from the Sole Music camp and takes me on a nostalgia trip back to my Radio 1 Lovegroove Dance Party days. This feel-good disco-etched offering still sounds as essential all these years on not least thanks to a cracking set of mixes from Nicola Fasano and Alan Braxe, and once again proves you can’t keep a good record down.
